This guide will focus on the use of package managers, specifically APT and Snap. We can install and manage our installations with package managers or by using tools such as rbenv or rvm. Speaking of package managers, there are several ways to install Ruby. However, if you’re an Ubuntu veteran or aren’t interested in a detailed explanation of what we’re doing, there’s a short and sweet TLDR section for you to install the latest Ruby package using either of the package managers we’ll look at.
